Academics

At BSG, our educational program follows the learning progression outlined in the NSW Syllabuses, guiding students from the Preparatory Program through to Kindergarten and Year 12. This structured approach ensures continuity and depth in each stage of learning, allowing students to grow confidently and consistently in their knowledge, skills, and personal development.

Our program blends evidence-based teaching practices with values-based education and a whole-person approach that supports each child’s intellectual, emotional, and spiritual growth. By combining contemporary educational resources with the rich cultural and philosophical heritage of the Vedic tradition, we create a balanced and inspiring learning environment that encourages curiosity, integrity, and a lifelong love of learning.

The curriculum includes a broad range of core subjects: English, Mathematics, Science, History, Geography, Personal Development, Values Education, Health and Physical Education (PDHPE), Visual Arts, Music, and Drama. These subjects provide students with a strong academic foundation while also nurturing creativity.

As students move into high school, the program expands to include career education, deeper studies in Vedic philosophy and culture, and personalised electives that allow students to explore their individual interests and strengths. In the senior years (Years 11 and 12), subjects are carefully structured to support each student’s future educational and career pathways. Through personalised guidance and a supportive learning environment, BSG helps every student develop the confidence, compassion, and skills needed to contribute positively to the world.
